The Pond

The Pond is a spectacular and rustically chic spot to host a unique wedding ceremony and reception or an outdoor party for your closest friends or most important clients.

Rental includes use of the stone patio as well as the surrounding lawn. The open area will accommodate up to 125 guests

The Moore Pavilion

The Moore Pavilion accommodates up to 200 people and is a scenic venue for unique wedding ceremonies, family reunions, picnics, group and corporate meetings.

Rental includes use of fourteen picnic tables and a wood-burning fireplace. Guests are welcome to make other seating arrangements to create their own memorable event.

Moore Pavilion Moore Pavilion rental guests are entitled to use of the surrounding lawn and parking area subject to the rules and regulations listed below. The adjacent meadow is accessible for your enjoyment but remains open to the public

Gazebo in the Woods

A rustic gazebo in a lovely wooded setting is available to rent for small ceremonies. This unique site can accommodate a max of 50 people.

Auditorium

Enjoy views of our bird observatory while hosting your meeting or gathering. Conference tables and chairs are provided for up to 60 people.

The Visitor Center remains open to the public between 9-5.

The Stone Bridge

The stone bridge over Pidcock Creek is available to rent for small ceremonies. This unique site can accommodate a max of 50 people.

Hosting an event at the Preserve is a privilege reserved for our Business Partners and members at the family level and above. Visit our membership page to learn more about the benefits of membership and how to join, or contact Membership Coordinator at membership@bhwp.org.

Guided Tours of the Preserve may be available for an additional fee. For more information contact Education Coordinator at education@bhwp.org.

Rental Rules and Regulations

Moore Pavilion rental guests are entitled to use of the pavilion, surrounding lawn and parking area subject to the rules and regulations listed below.

Please note that the adjacent meadow is accessible for your enjoyment but remains open to the public.

In the meadow, as within the deer fence, all Preserve visitation rules apply (stay on trails, no picking or collecting plants or seeds, no picnicking except under the Moore Pavilion, and no pets within the fenced area, etc.)
Should the facility, or any part of the facility become hazardous for public use due to weather, water, fire or unforeseeable circumstances, the area may be closed to the public with full refund to affected rental parties.
Maximum rental capacity for the facility is 200 people.
There is an additional fee of $85.00 for removal of the picnic tables.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Enclosed candles only.
Decorations may not be stapled, screwed, nailed or affixed in any way that would leave a lasting impression or mark to any existing structure at the Preserve.
Alcoholic beverages may be served only by an approved caterer with adequate liability insurance. Please call our event coordinator at 215-862-2924 to discuss our alcohol policy.
Parking is limited to parking lots and is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
10.Dispose of garbage in the dumpster and trash cans only, leaving the area in tidy condition similar to arrival.
11.Fires are permitted in the fireplace. Open fires are prohibited. Grills are not provided, but may be used with caution and due care. Ashes should be placed in fireplace or removed from property. Ashes may NOT be discarded in trash bins or dumpsters.
All pets must be on leashes, under the control of the handler, and are permitted in the pavilion and surrounding lawn area only. Pets are NOT permitted inside the fence. Please clean up after your pets.
Damaging, defacing, improper use, or removal of any plant, sign, structure or equipment is prohibited.
Hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, horseback riding, and collecting firewood are prohibited.
Audio and public address systems are permitted provided they are not excessively loud and do not disturb neighbors.
Off-road vehicles, including trail bikes and snowmobiles are NOT permitted.
Cancellation Policy - $100 of each reservation is non-refundable. If a cancellation occurs less than 60 days prior to the reservation date and we are unable to rent the facility there is no refund.

We will make every effort possible to re-book and refund reservation amount paid less the $100 non-refundable portion.
