Adam’s Needle ( Yucca filamentosa )

$7.00

A small evergreen shrub that looks like it belongs in the Southwest, Adam’s needle has 2 to 3 foot fleshy spikes with a curly filament along the edges. A dramatic 5 to 8 foot fragrant flowering stalk emerges in late spring. It grows best in full sun and does well in poor and dry soils. When planting make certain that you select the proper site, the plants can be difficult to remove once established due to deep fleshy roots. Highly deer resistant.
