A welcome spring bloomer, two-leaved toothwort’s delicate white or light pink flowers arise on a stalk above three lobed and coarsely toothed leaves. Plants emerge in the fall, bloom from April to June, and go dormant in summer. Plants will gradually spread through their roots and possible reseeding. As with most spring ephemerals, two-leaved toothwort is an important plant for early pollinators.
