Solomon’s Seal (Polygonatum biflorum)

White bell shaped flowers hanging from arching stems add interest as they wave above other woodland plants. Catbirds like to jump up and catch the seeds that form late in the summer. Consider planting with alumroot (Heuchera sp.), foamflower (Tiarella cordifolia) and mixed ferns for an attractive combination.
