Nannyberry ( Viburnum lentago )

Can be formed into a large shrub or a single-trunk tree. Flowers in flat clusters and red fruit that turns blue-black. Like all viburnums, it is an excellent nectar source and host plant that provides well-timed, nutritious berries for birds. Easily tolerates dry soils.
