Damsels and Dragons, Flies with Santino Lauricella (Fourth Fridays for Families July 22)

Kids 3 to 6 and their adult caregivers can join a naturalist for a fun-filled morning as we discover some fascinating insect friends. Our explorations will take us both indoors and around the pond as we learn more about the lives of these creatures, the dramatic changes they undergo and the important role they play in our world.

Santino Lauricella has served as the education coordinator for Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve since 2019. He is responsible for the Preserve’s educational programming, which helps visitors to be inspired by our natural world. Originally from central New York, he received his B.S. in wildlife management from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. An avid lover of the outdoors since his childhood spent just outside the Adirondack Park, he relishes all opportunities to share his passion for nature and science with others.

Program Fee: $10 per child, $5 for each additional, $0 per adult (Members: Enter your code to receive your 20% discount)

Each child must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can attend no more than two children.

Walks are weather dependent; please dress for the weather.
