Creating a Native Water Harvesting Garden (a.k.a. Rain Gardens) – Thursday Night Nature (July 22)
$15.00
Have you ever wondered what you could do with all the water running off your driveway or your front roof? You could harvest that water of course and use it for those thirsty native plants often associated with wetland habitats. Fragmented and lost of ecologically functioning habitats is one of the leading causes of declining bird, mammals, pollinating insects and native plant communities across our country. Learn how to return some level of ecological health to your property by adding a rain garden to your landscape.
