Now in its 6th year, Rooted in Our Future, the Preserve’s annual celebration

and fundraiser, is making a permanent move to the spring to toast the Preserve during its quintessential season.

Spring is a magical time of year at the Preserve when our spring ephemerals – including our iconic sea of Virginia bluebells – are in peak bloom. Whether you’ve attended Rooted in Our Future in previous years or this is your first opportunity,

we are excited to celebrate with you this spring as the Preserve comes to life.

This year’s event will once again be rooted in the heart and soul of our Preserve community, welcoming 200 supporters for a casual and festive evening.

Our popular seasonal small plates dinner menu paired with craft botanical libations will be back, along with live jazz and the star of the evening, our “raise your paddle” fundraising segment with a special guest host.
