Full Time Business Manager and Bookkeeper
The Business Manager and Bookkeeper serves a critical leadership role for the Preserve, providing crucial administrative, financial, operational and human resources support to the Executive Director and staff to facilitate efficient operation of the organization. Bookkeeping and accounting duties include all financial record keeping and accounts payable/receivable, managing a variety of restricted funds accounts, completing bank reconciliations and other end-of-month accounting, and preparing appropriate financial reports for the staff, Executive Director, CPA, auditors, finance committee and Board of Trustees. The position also works closely with contract accounting firms to provide all necessary financial data for the annual audit. Human resource management includes payroll, benefit management, maintaining personnel records and supporting the recruitment, hiring, orientation and retainment processes.
