A lavender bee balm that will grow in most soil conditions but prefers moist soil and sun. Flowers are butterfly magnets. If a butterfly is in the vicinity, it will often be found on bergamot. Works well with summer phlox, downy skullcap and purple hyssop. A partial shade plant with attractive pink flowers and mounded, lacy foliage that blooms all summer if kept moist. Also deer resistant. Truly a winner.
