Join horticultural therapist Laura DePrado to create your own teacup garden. Sip some tea and learn how these cups are steeped in rich history. During this workshop, we will also bring a little bit of the indoors outside. Engage and tantalize your senses and create your own expression using some natural and native materials for a take-home project. This class is for everyone, no matter your gardening experience and level. Participants are requested to bring their own teacup for the program, but if you are unable then one will be supplied.

Laura DePrado is a horticultural therapist, HTR, BS and HT certificate recipient, author, journalist and photographer who specializes in connecting people and plants for human health and well-being. DePrado is the founder, president and owner of Final Touch Plantscaping, LLC, which provides customized activities and programs using plants to impact social, physical and psychological well-being. She has traveled the world studying the ancient use of plants in health and medicine. She is a three-time national presenter of the American Horticultural Therapy Association (AHTA) and recipient of the AHTA Alice Burlingame Humanitarian Award.
