Seersucker Sedge ( Carex plantaginea )

$7.00

This broad-leaf, semi-evergreen sedge has crinkled leaves and grows in clumps. It is one of our smaller sedges. It prefers part shade and moist soil but will tolerate some dryness. Plants slowly colonize from short rhizomes. As with all sedges, it is deer resistant, provides cover and seed for wildlife, and is a host plant for various butterflies.
