Meadowsweet is a shrub that grows in old fields, meadows and swamps. Happy in a number of locations it does prefer drier conditions than Steeplebush. Meadowsweet produces white or pale-pink flower clusters in summer. A member of the rose family that is an important pollinator for a number of butterflies.
